On theartistic ceramics from Cutrofianoseveral tests were carried out to prove theimpact resistance. In particular, using a 50 gram marble, the ceramics showed aremarkable resistancein throws from the maximum permitted height, that is 90 centimetres, unlike what happens with normal clays, which already at a distance of 50 centimetres show cracks in the enamel and register complete breakage with throws from 65 centimetres. These specific characteristics have contributed to the diffusion ofartistic ceramics from Cutrofiano, which confirm themselves as a small treasure of Italian craftsmanship capable of standing the test of time.
